If you were to have a hair analysis done you could find out your uranium levels in that way. One doctor I listened to years ago had an analysis done and found out she did have high levels of uranium. The tester asked her if she ate a lot of organic food. She did eat quite a bit and he told her that might be the reason. I never realized that before (or since).

One of my daughters is divorced and quit working to stay home and homeschool her youngest son. She thought that God was supposed to provide for her and expected me and a friend of hers to provide her a home for her and pay her bills.

Old Pyrex and old Corelle dishware have lead. So if you’re using that stuff too you may want to rethink serving food out of that and your uranium glass. That’s quite a heavy load of toxins that could be going into your food.

It is not ok to pay rent if it is 2X amount of your mortgage. Buy a smaller less expensive house. She also could rent out some of the bedrooms in the house. There are lots of corners to cut.

Tawra, please check your other older dishes and glassware for lead. I have a couple of old china sets that were my late husband’s grandmother’s sets and while they are beautiful, unfortunately the lead is so high we cannot use them.

Were the ebay ads of things sold or for sale? I wouldn't use them. I got rid of my old Corelle of the patterns that had lead. Threw them in the trash instead of repurposing or donating. We are assaulted with so much toxins nowadays, I don't want to take a chance.

We try to avoid using plastic and non-stick pans. Why would we use uranium containing containers? I dont trust anything anymore. I threw away old tupperware and have been buying glass containers. Just my preference.

My grandma had the coolest green measuring cup in her house. It glows. 🫣we all love it. Mom uses it to stand the silverware in. I probably wouldn’t put food in it,but I bet if you mostly had dry things it would be negligible anyway.if you got a gieger counter you could test your salt separately from the container to see. I wonder how it transfers? You need a collab’ with a chemistry channel!

Yeah They would become decor pieces for me, but I have had cancer and had to take radiation treatments after chemo. I try to limit my exposer to not so great things. Dont look up lead-based dishes like the old pyrex and corning ware. husband has a blue set of china and we found out they are super high in lead and said to never eat out of them. Thank god we only used at the holidays they now are packed away and out of my kitchen. You should buy some lead testers and see what some of the old dish's test as, might shock you.

I don't think you gave the dawn power wash a fair test on the eggy pan. You started with a dry pan and didnt add any water. I use powerwash all the time. You need to either rinse the pan with some hot water before you spray or add some hot water with the spray. It works great. I dont really like the home made version. Im not sure, maybe I used the wrong ratio of alcohol to dawn to water.

This reminds me of the movie The Uranium Girls who used to paint the dials of watches to glow in the dark using the Uranium pain. Some of the girls would touch the tip pf the brush to their tongue to keep the tip fine. They became very sick and were poisoned by extreme contact with the radioactive paint. I think you will be fine, but don't use these vessels for food preparation anymore.

Wow,that’s really cool but l guess l wouldn’t use them anymore. By the way my mother used to make a lamb cake every Easter and for baby showers and now l hear the cake form has lead in it. Yikes.

My Mom always gave all surfaces in the kitchen a Bleach bath after prepping meats. Only thing vinegar was used was to wash meats before prepping.
